# Read-only rooms for endpoints **Advanced.** A safe window onto a running system — no agent required. You don't need to be building AI to want a live view of your own runtime. A `static` Nexus room is exactly that: a read-only projection over a running frame that can inspect everything and change nothing. That makes it a natural backing for the introspection surfaces you'd otherwise hand-roll: - a **health endpoint** that reports what's genuinely live, not what you hope is - an **admin panel** listing resolved services and their scopes - a **debug view** of the real dependency graph in production Because the room's authority is compiled and read-only, exposing it carries no mutation risk — the worst a caller can do is look. The `capability` and `codegen` rooms in [Expert](../expert/index.md) escalate from here. ## Runnable examples - [Static vs capability authority](../examples/advanced/11-static-vs-capability-authority.md) — Advanced 11 - [What you cannot see](../examples/advanced/15-what-you-cannot-see.md) — Advanced 15 - [Pointing a rift at your own frame](../examples/expert/11-pointing-a-rift-at-your-own-frame.md) — Expert 11 [All advanced examples](../examples/advanced/index.md) · [Level contents](index.md) · [Full contents](../contents.md) [Canonical page source](https://github.com/Synaptic724/melder/blob/0895ce795453cd87e35d70665957b4e89aad3317/README.md)
